GENDER ROLES: England vs Colombia.

After the World War II, England's gender roles has changed a lot. Women worked in the factories  and joinen the Armed Force. Also women in the position of power is something that the English don't have problem with accepting, for example: The Queen is a very political influence in the Island. The election and repeated relection of Margaret Tatcher as prime mister is another example that people are elected according to ability of leadership and not gender.
In the other hand, in Colombia women on power are very strange. Here, a woman has never been a president, until last year there were the first women in the charge of vicepresidents. So that is a very difference between both countries, Colombia needs so much education and acceptation of gender roles.

Stereotypes

Stereotypes are a kind of generalization that judges a group of people without enough information and limiting them in a wrong perception.
People tend to use stereotypes to stand defects of people out and  generalizing them without the oportunity to correct that opinion.
The problem of this unfounded limitation begins when people are guided only by stereotypes rejecting certain groups without even knowing that these behaviors or facts don't really define each person individually, and this can be reflected in a very bad way into the person who is being judge.
So, before reject a group based on infounded information, think about all positives characteristic instead of bad things and be open to learn more about it!
